I’ve just come across a collection of interesting photos of the Isle of Man from the 1920s. It was a different age and the photos show how popular the Island was as a tourist resort. A new outlet has opened at The Strand in Douglas, a store called The Art Market. This is the latest venture to come under the wing of local Company Director Roberto Edmanson-Harrison of ArtworkX of Mann. The idea of this market was borne out of collaboration between four local companies, working together in during the ‘Crossroads Charity Christmas Market, which was held in a unit within the Strand Shopping Centre, last November & December 2010.  [ Read More ]
