Twilight at the Castle

Manx National Heritage are opening up Castle Rushen to let people enjoy “Twilight at the Castle!”

The castle is being opened up on the 23rd August from 7pm to 9pm specially for the occasion. You can plan a picnic or enjoy a hog roast in the gardens. You can play some garden games, explore the castle or simply have a stroll in the gardens. There will be live music with Samba Mann & Strengyn. It will be a fantastic event.

To start and end the whole evening well, taking the right transport is a must. Specially for the occasion you can using the late night steam train or use the Mann Sightseeing Open top tour bus. Trains depart at 17.45 and 19.00 and leaves Castletown back to Douglas at 21.37. You can board the bus at 18.30 just in front of the sea terminal and then leaves Castle Rushen at 21.00. Bus costs £8 for adults, £4 for kids and free for under 5’s. You will need standard admission for the Castle. Free admission for ACE card holders and annual ticket holders.

Looking forward to seeing you there. It will be a night to remember!
